TRAUMA SUPPORT & RECOVERY
The time is now to INVEST in yourself! District For Change provides ONLINE and One-on-One Grief & Traumatic Loss Peer Support Group sessions in a safe environment for you to deal with and take actions in navigating your new journey toward healing and emotional wellbeing.
District For Change offers various certificates in Trauma-Informed Response practices in partnership with Vessels of Hope, Inc.
FINANCIAL & LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Our organization provides financial resources and support to individuals facing property tax foreclosure and homebuyers closing cost assistance.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICES
Individuals impacted by intimate partner violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, families of incarcerated loved ones, and voter education. Due to COVID-19, we offer free Personal Protection
Equipment (PPE).
AGING & ACTIVE SENIORS THRIVE
Aging & Active Seniors Wellness Program is a comprehensive initiative offering a variety of fitness, wellness and educational sessions to adults ages 55 and over. District For Change believes that anytime is the right time to start feeling great. The Aging & Active Senior Wellness Program is geared to provide the personal development and enrichment skills for olders adults to implement ongoing lifestyle changes through movement, education and fun. Through a referral network of multidisciplinary organizations, Aging & Active Senior Wellness Program participants will be directly connected to wraparound services that address all drivers of health.
